Terms and Conditions – TOURS


Our tours are private except for the walking tours.

The tours and private experiences presented require a minimum of 2 participants, in the case of walking tours there must be a minimum of 4 participants.

Our tours can be done on foot, in the case of the walking tours, the others can be done by car.

The starting point of our tours is the city of Porto. In case of pick up or drop off outside the city of Porto, customers will have to pay for that extra tour service. The pick up and drop off location should be informed by the customer when booking the tour.

In case baby seats are required for the transportation of children, these must be requested at the time of booking.

If one or more passengers have any special condition, this must be communicated when booking the tour.

Special Moments Tours is not responsible for any items or personal belongings left in the vehicles or in the passing places during the tour.

Special Moments Tours cannot be held responsible for delays caused by traffic or weather conditions.

Smoking or drinking alcohol is not allowed inside the vehicles.

Special Moments Tours is a company that has sustainability as its values, and for that reason we ask our clients not to throw any object or waste through the windows of the vehicles or on the sidewalks. As well as respecting the heritage and monuments they visit.

All prices indicated include VAT.

Tour Inclusions

  • Visits to monuments or other sites when defined in the tour reservation.
  • Meals when defined in the tour reservation.
  • Services in Portuguese, English, Spanish
  • Pick-up and Drop-off in hotels/accommodations.
  • Transport by vehicle, except for walking tours which are done on foot.
  • On Walking Tours clients should wear comfortable clothes and shoes according to the weather conditions.
  • All mandatory insurance.
  • Water on board when in vehicle.

Exclusions on Tours

  • Anything not defined in the tour reservation.
  • Personal expenses
  • Tips for guides

Reservations

All tours and itineraries require prior confirmation from Special Moments Tours.

Payments

The total payment of the tour or itinerary must be made at the time of booking.
In case of non-payment, the tour will be cancelled and will not take place.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be sent to the e-mail [email protected] with the express indication of the tour to be cancelled.

All cancellations made up to 7 days before the tour will be refunded in full.

All cancellations made between 7 days and 72 hours before the tour will be refunded 50% of the amount paid.

Last minute cancellations made less than 72 hours before the tour will not be reimbursed.
